Born To Be Registries’ Beginnings

Since 2022, I've counseled over 30 women facing crisis pregnancies and noticed a common challenge: many struggle to get essential items for their babies. Whether they have very little income, or it all goes toward mama putting a roof over head and food in her and her children’s bellies, getting baby supplies is often impossible.
While pregnancy centers offer vital support like free ultrasounds, local support groups and connections to other forms of aid, material help for a coming baby is often scarce as they almost always rely on local community members donating physical items to their centers.
This means women often have to hunt for items at different places, juggling work schedules with pregnancy center hours, and often not having reliable transportation. Meanwhile, the clock ticks towards baby's arrival while nurseries are empty and unprepared. As a result, parents all over the country are left bringing baby home with nearly nothing for them - no safe sleep space, few clothes or diapers, no bottles, and some parents are even denied discharge at the hospital due to not having a car seat.
After seeing this unfold many times, I decided to create a nationwide one stop spot where mothers with great need can have their baby registries fulfilled in one place. Whether they need small items like bottles and pacifiers or big items like cribs, car seats, and strollers, we will work to get these essential items to as many mamas as possible.
My husband Nick joined the effort and with our dream, experience and persistence, Born To Be Registries was...well...born!
